As part of World Alzheimer’s Month, the American Parkinson Disease Association is hosting their Optimism Walk on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Warwick City park.

Starting this event, the Fun Run (an unofficial 5k route) starts at 10 am, and prizes will be presented to the first male, first female, and first youth across the finish line. Then, the Walk, a less than one mile route where anyone can walk as much or as little as they would like, starts at 11 am and is wheelchair accessible. Rain or shine, there will be live music, a light lunch, raffle/auction, vendors, exercise demonstrations, awards and more.
